Business Profile

Thank you for showing an interest in Sandylands School. Our mission statement of 'Growing and learning together' is very true! We employ over 80 well-trained staff - many from the surrounding community and some are ex-pupils. Sandylands is a large community school with a Nursery where every child matters. We are a caring, orderly, inclusive school. We are very proud of the achievements of our youngsters. Ofsted (Dec 2008) quite rightly stated that we are 'a good school with many outstanding features'. We pride ourselves on having children that want to come to school to learn. We expect all children to achieve their very best in all that they do. If you talk to the children they will say that they enjoy being part of the Sandylands community.
