Welcome to Muddy Boots Nursery (Cumbria) Ltd - Are you looking for a safe, relaxed and reliable nursery for your child/ children to attend in the Cumbria area?

As a graduate lead award-winning children's day nursery located in Penrith, who established back in 2001 allow our amazing team here at Muddy Boots Nursery to provide you with the childcare you require for both babies and children throughout the local community.

In September 2013, we proudly became an Ltd company allowing us to develop as Muddy Boots Nursery (Cumbria) Ltd.

The nursery has well-known itself a reputation for the provision of quality childcare and staffing and is a member of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).

Our Childcare Services - Our nursery proudly accommodates for both babies and children from the age of 3 months - 5 years old. Our rooms are split into 3 with the staff, skills and knowledge to work with all ages of children, helping them develop with our range of activities.

• Baby Room - age 3 months - 2 years old
• Toddler Room - age 2 to 3 years old
• Pre School - age 3 to 5 years old

Baby Room - Holding up to 12 babies, our baby room caters from the age of 3 months up to 2 years of age. This room is set in a single-story building and allows your child space and opportunity to explore and discover new experiences.

Helping your little one explore the world, we boast about all the activities we can provide including:

• Book and music corner
• Daily sensory tray
• Lots of puzzles and toddle boxes to develop walking and physical strength
• Mark making area
• Mirrors, shape sorters and ride on to keep them entertained
• Role play kitchen area
• Sand tray
• Sensory den - helping discover shapes, sizes, texture,
• Treasure baskets - full of natural everyday resources

Ensuring every day is different for your child, we will also provide daily activities such as:

• Painting
• Playing in our fantastic outdoor area
• Walks to see the horses and sheep on the college facility

Toddler Room - Our toddler room is available for ages 2-3-year olds, holding up to 15 children. Located in the main building, your children have access to the outdoor veranda and back garden.

At this age, children are wanting to learn, which is why we provide an array of playing activities and education facilities such as:

• Book and cosy area
• Building and small world area
• Computers
• Construction and imaginative play -in our well-furbished role play area
• Paint and craft activities
• Sand and water area
• Sensory den with cushions
• Well-stocked mark making and math's area

We also offer a range of activities which encourages children to sing, language develop and share experience from home and within the nursery.

Pre School Room - Our preschool room lets children to join from the age of 3 to 5 years old. This room allows children to develop in education, preparing them for Primary School with the total independence as well as develop their maths and literacy skills. Set in a separate building away from the main building, 18 children can join our preschool room.
